A Four-week Self-paced Challenge for Smart and Sensitive Humans Who Want to Impact Their Communities by Sharing More of What They See and What They Know

I Know You

Beautiful female eyes, very close, black-and-white. Expressive sight

You are a smart, courageous, conscious, creative human being with decades of lived experience that have helped you understand some aspect of the human experience deeply (or even many aspects). This might be the foundation of your existing business, the inspiration for a new business, or just a mission you have to be of service in the world.

You might be:

  • A coach, consultant, spiritual, teacher, or healer
  • Some other kind of small or solo business owner
  • An artist
  • An advocate
  • An aspiring entrepreneur
  • A retired person who still wants to be productively engaged in the world

Getting your voice out in the world to do good, to make things better, and to help you find your people is one of the most important things in the world to you.

You know you have valuable insights to share. Insights that could make a real difference to the people who are yearning to hear them.

But you aren’t out there speaking (and writing) and sharing the way you know you could be. The way you would like to be.

You may be dreaming of:

  • Starting a podcast or a YouTube channel
  • Launching a Substack
  • Standing up to share at live networking events
  • Getting booked locally as a speaker
  • Sending your email newsletter out on the regular
  • Or just having the courage to speak up more in conversations with other humans.

But instead of clicking record on that record button or hitting publish on your latest blog post, or even sitting down to put a new thought into words, you may:

  • feel shy sharing your message and worried about what others will think
  • be afraid that if you spoke in your TRUE voice that people would be overwhelmed or turned off
  • be unsure how your Big Why translates into real life reels or posts
  • have written a few posts or recorded a few videos and are worried that the well is running dry and that you don’t have more to say
  • feel like you have too many themes or threads in your message, that you are all over the place, and you don’t feel focused enough to share and publish
  • be waiting to get the message dialed in just right before sharing publicly, or agonizing for hours over what to share so it becomes too burdensome to do over and over

I Want to Help

I want you to realize two things:

  1. The best way to develop your voice and your message is to write and speak frequently about the things you care about (not wait to get it right before speaking up)
  2. The best way to impact your community with your presence and energy is to show up and share frequently, messily, imperfectly NOW

Make a committment to show up and share, and you’ll be amazed what unfolds.

  • You’ll build more confidence
  • You’ll build more skill
  • More people will hear you
  • More people will know you
  • More people will have a chance to resonate with your words

A Common Misconception

A lot of people think that before you write or speak publicly, you need to KNOW what you have to say.

But the truth is that we write and speak to DISCOVER what we have to say. That we don’t really know it until we’ve put ourselves on the spot to try to share something.

If you can develop a rhythm to speaking or writing and sharing your thoughts, you’ll find yourself opening up the spigot of new ideas and insights so that you have even more to share and write about.

Plus, if you commit to sharing your thoughts more often there will be more of you in the world for the right people to respond to.

That’s Why I Am Offering This Four-week Challenge

My friend Lissa, the Soul Mapper, recently shared that late May to early June is an auspicious time to bring more of your authentic voice in the world (primarily through speaking). A time to dig deep and refine your core themes, to make your words more True to you, so you can attract fascinating people to the work you are doing.

And I thought, well, gee, who is more about voice and message and True articulation than me?

That’s why I decided to jump in on short notice and put this experience together so we can play together.

It’s also great timing as I emerge from last year’s health crisis for me to experiment and innovate with new ways to support you in experiencing the sweetness in life that comes from really knowing what is true and eternal and important about who you are and honoring that in your life and in your work.

I am myself on the cusp of stepping back into more sharing and into developing the next iteration of my voice.

Here’s What I Know

I have tons of tools to help you refine your core themes and message, and I have tons of prompts and formulas to make it easy to say and share good and deep things. I know that working with me, many people start to find their voice, to land on their most powerful expression and to find more ease getting those ideas out in the world.

So, what do you say we get together for four weeks to give you the support to speak up more, to speak up more powerfully, and to find more flow in getting the goodness inside of you out into the world?

What I want for you over four weeks is to:

  • Own and claim what you bring to the table by showing up and sharing beyond your current limits
  • Attract more of the right people through speaking out loud in ways or in places that are less familiar
  • Heal yourself and the soul of your business by hearing yourself in new ways and allowing others to hear you in new ways
  • Invite soul recognition of what is deep, true, eternal, and unmistakable about who you are
  • Refine the central themes of your work

This Isn’t Through the Lens of Marketing

This experience isn’t going to look through the lens of strategic marketing, of how and when and what you should share to get more clients from the outside.

It’s going to focus on two things:

  • Helping you to recognize what is rich, powerful, important, and resonant that you have to share
  • Encouraging you to share those things publicly in places where other humans can hear you (so speaking out loud to your empty living room doesn’t count) in ways that are perfectly imperct

The focus will be on sharing what comes up from inside of you that wants to be shared more quickly, more freely, and more frequently.

Here’s the Game Plan

Week One: Warm Up

Starts Sunday, May 25th

This is the week you’ll warm up by digging deeper into the core themes of your work.

You’ll have a choice to do a deep dive into your True Spirit using my best step-by-step instructions to articulate the True Spirit of Your Work or do a quick take on your True Spirit.

You’ll also get to play with the Qualities that are key to bringing your expression forward so it looks and feels and sounds like YOU.

We’ll see if you we can DISSOLVE some of the mistaken thoughts or inner obstacles that re keeping you from showing up more often.

And you’ll get started making some decisions about WHERE you want to share your voice and HOW OFTEN you’ll be sharing (you get to set the pace based on where you are now and what you want to stretch into).

Week Two: Get in Action

Starts Sunday, June 1

Based on the parameters you’ve set for yourself, you’ll use some of my best prompts to shape some new expression to take out into the world. This includes my famous Sound Bite formulas you can use over and over to shape your ideas in ways that land with impact.

I’ll have several options for how much you post so you can pick the right level for you and set your own pace.

You’ll start speaking (or writing) and then share your words someplace where people can hear them.

Week Three: Take More Action

Starts Sunday, June 8

Based on your week one experience, you’ll keep going. You can keep going with the same prompts, or pick new ones. You can keep the same pace, or pick up the pace if that feels right.

This might be the week you start playing with Story Telling: your stories, clients stories, other people’s stories.

You’ll look for the next right stretch in sharing your voice.

Week Four: Stretch Just a Little More

Starts Sunday, June 15

Based on your week two experience, you’ll keep going. You can keep going with the same prompts, or pick new ones.

You’ll look for the next right stretch in sharing your voice.

And we’ll end with one last live call after our fourth week to debrief what you’ve learned and how you want to keep going (week of June 23).

How I’ll Support You

This is an experiment for me to move away from my super intensive small group trainings and into something bigger and looser. Here are the ways I will support you:

  1. Recorded Videos and Two Workbooks

You’ll have a link to a Google Drive where I will post short instructional videos and two workbooks to walk you step-by-step through the whole process. One workbook for the prep work and one work for the in action part of the process. You can guide yourself through the process at your own pace and review as needed.

  1. Weekly Written Check Ins

Every week, you’ll be invited to complete a check-in form to report on your action and learning and to ask any questions. The questions posted here will be the first that I focus on answering on our live calls.

And this will be a powerful way for you to reflect on your experience and consolidate your learning even if you don’t have questions.

  1. A Facebook Group where you can share your experience, ask questions, and get 5-Minute Feedback.

I know, I hate Facebook too and don’t spend much time there.

But.

To do this program on short notice, this is the easiest way I can create a group space for us to interact.

You can ask me questions. You can share your experiences. You can post something you’ve written or recorded for Five Minute Feedback from me. You can give each other feedback though note that there will be strict guidelines on what feedback you give each other so that it’s supportive and not distracting.

If you don’t do Facebook, you will still get a ton from this program without this portion.

  1. Five live calls with me to answer common questions and offer encouragement

Each week of the challenge we’ll have a live call to focus your efforts. This is a chance for me to answer your written questions from the weekly check ins first, and spoken questions if there’s time.

There will also be a final call after our fourth week to debrief the whole experience and complete the challenge.

Calls will be on Thursdays at noon ET (11am CT, 10am MT, 9am PT).

A Note on Messiness

While this training draws on my thirty years of experience and vast toolkit of Trueing and messaging skills, it’s also a brand-new training that I am putting together on short notice.

So it might get messy here and there and not be perfect. I might drop a ball or be late with something. We might have a tech glitch.

But I want to model for you that it’s ok to show up like that.

Really.

I think the good we will create together will far outweigh any missteps.

And those of you who know me know I work very hard to deliver value to you.

If you don’t know me, here’s a long version of who I am and the work I’ve done in the world: My Bio

Your Investment

Because this is new and I am in a spirit of experimentation, and I want to make it accessible to anyone on my list who wants to be part of this, I am offering this as Pay What You Are Inspired.

That doesn’t mean “pay whatever you feel like”.

It means that I invite you to deeply consider if you want to be here, and if you do, to deeply consider what is the appropriate investment for you for this experience.

I am going to trust your good heart and I am going to trust that you want to create a mutually beneficial exchange that honors both what you expect to get from this experience (without knowing for sure what that is) and the time and energy and effort you know I’ll be making to make this available.

So first, decide if this is right for you.

Now, your investment:

  • The recommended investment for this, that represents solid support for me and my work, is $300 (plus state tax if you are in New Mexico).
  • The lowest requested investment is $150. Below this doesn’t feel great and doesn’t sustain my efforts to create new trainings.
  • That said, if you truly want to be here, and you truly cannot commit $150 you may pay less, and you don’t need to ask me if it’s ok to pay less. The rock bottom investment is $75. You will not be able to register for less than this.
  • The abundant investment is $400. If you love me and my work and know you’ll get a ton from this experience, I welcome investment at this level. This also supports me making this available to folks who cannot make the suggested investment.

Here’s how it works:

    1. Click the link to register. The default amount shown will be $300.
    2. Keep it at that or enter another amount you want to invest.
    3. Complete your registration.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Is this about speaking or writing?

I am going to encourage you to focus on speaking, especially if that feels harder than writing! Part of the energy of this moment is about the spoken word more than the written word.

That said, all my trainings are fundamentally about Trueing. And that means recognizing what is True about you and honoring that. So if writing is what you want to focus on, everything we do can easily be adapted to writing.

  1. What if I don’t know the focus of my work?

Our first week will have several exercises to help you get more clear on the central theme of your work. (You also have the option of working with me privately to articulate the True Spirit of Your Work if that feels difficult to do on your own. LINK).

  1. What if the focus of my work is changing?

This will be a great opportunity to start speaking (or writing) about your new focus! And the more you write about your new focus, the more you’ll discover about your new focus. A number of the prompts we will use will help you flesh out what you know and believe about this new direction.

  1. I am not sure where I should be sharing what I create in this training?

Listen, the truth is there are a certain number of places you can easily share: social media (FB, Insta, Linked In, YouTube). You can also share through your email list or Substack. Or, you can share at live events that include an opportunity to speak.

This course is not about making a strategic decision about where to share. It’s about picking where to share, and then doing it. If you decide there are new places to share, everything we do here will be useful if you change or expand where to share.

  1. What if I can’t make the live calls?

I would do this challenge even if you cannot attend the live calls. You can ask questions in your Weekly Check In to be answered even if you are not on the call live. And the call recordings will be posted fairly quickly so you can watch them on your own schedule.

Everything you need to do the challenge will be in the videos and workbook that you can do at your own pace. The live calls will be great but you can do the challenge without them.

  1. What if I am not on Facebook?

I would do this challenge even if you are not on Facebook and don’t plan to be on Facebook. You can still get tons of value from all the other resources (recorded video and workbook, weekly check ins, and live calls).

Everything you need to do the challenge will be in the videos and workbook that you can do at your own pace. The live calls will be great but you can do the challenge without them.

  1. I am super busy right now. Can I take the challenge later?

If you are tempted to do this, I encourage you to register now.

I do not know if or when I will offer this again. My current plans are to offer a new four-week challenge in September and to work privately with clients who want more in-depth partnering and support to develop their voices, design their work, or write their non-fiction books.

And, this course is designed so you can work at your own pace. If you are busy, you can pick a slower pace and still get a lot of value.

I work with the principle “You are never behind.” Whatever you get from this course, from choosing to sign up, to whatever lessons you do, to whatever out there in the world results you get, may be exactly what you need right now. It’s not about the volume of what you do, it’s about the presence and clarity of what you do.
